Iraq is a large country in Asia.It has borders with many countries including Saudi
Arabia, Kuwait, Iran, Turkey, Syria and Jordan. It was ruled by king.However,after the
revolution in 1958,it became a republic.Iraq has a natural resources,such as water and
oil.Agriculture and religion tourism are important parts of its economy. Baghdad, the capital
and largest city of Iraq, is also one of the largest in the Middle East, and is located in the
center on both sides of the Tigris River. Although there is a museum in the Iraqi capital, in
which the various relics of jewels, currencies, human structures and statues are displayed
from prehistoric times until the seventeenth century AD, there are other attractions outside
Baghdad, including monuments, marshes and religious places. The official language is
Arabic and many people speak Kurdish and Turkmen.
