I was fortunate to be among the pilot batch of students who went on the 31-week extended internship
programme at Novartis. It meant that I could learn new things on a much larger scale and there was more time
to gain hands-on experience as I operated different types of equipment such as bioreactors, centrifuges and depth
filters. The longer, more comprehensive internship also made it easier for me to get a full-time job after I graduated.”
