PRINCIPLES OF MANAGEMENT

It is a matter of great pleasure to put first a book titled “Principles of Management” prepared for
the degree of BBA , B.Com. and B.Com. (Hons.) of Osmania University and for All other Universities
in Telangana State w.e.f. the A.Y. 2020 -2021 . The book has been divided into Five Units as
prescribed in the syllabus. The language of the book is lucid and addresses the requirements of the
undergraduate students. We are assured that the book meets the requirements and expectations of
the teachers and students.I request the teachers, students and others to provide constructive
suggestions to improve further the contents and quality of this book.

PREFACE

It gives great pleasure to present the First Edition of the book on basics of Marketing to the students
of Bachelor of business administration. This book is a handy, simple textbook that covers all the
topics and the full syllabus prescribed by the osmania and other universities of telengana state
includes all the concepts, and provides suitable examples from the Indian market context.

This book is an adaptation of the popular book on basics of Marketing written by DR .S.LAKSHMI
NARASIMHAM and DR . MD AFROZ PASHA. and I am grateful to M/s. TATA PUBLICATIONS, for
giving me an opportunity to write the book, keeping in mind the Syllabus and the requirements of
the students.

I request the teachers, students and others to provide constructive suggestions to improve further
the contents and quality of this book.
