SOCIO-ECONOMIC ASPECT

CONTRIBUTION TO GOVERNMENT

The Optimist Tutorial Academy can contribute to the government by paying

taxes. These taxes paid by the tutorial center will be an addition to the national

income of the government which will be soon used for the betterment of the nation.

CONTRIBUTION TO THE PUBLIC

Because the business is offering quality accounting tutorial services, we can

contribute to the public by developing competent and ethical future Certified Public

Accountant being a productive member of the society and the country as a whole.

CONTRIBUTION TO THE ENVIRONMENT

The tutorial center can contribute to environment in the way that the business will

be following the rules and regulations imposed by the local government for the proper

waste disposal. Also, the business will be using the 3R’s for waste management.

Findings, Conclusion and Recommendations

This section provides findings, conclusions, and recommendations based on the

data gathering, analysis, interviews, and research conducted by the proponents of the

project feasibility study, Optimist Tutorial Academy.

Findings

The finding of the study shows that the demand for tutoring services is very high.

Based on the data for the last five years, the demand is increasing (Table 2.2) and as of

2013, the demand is estimated to be 3,152. However, there is no supply based on the

supply analysis. In the following demand and supply analysis, the present demand gap

(Table 2.4) for a tutorial center is 2,982.

Conclusion

In view of the fact that the demand gap is very significant, the proposed Optimist

Tutorial Academy is very viable. Though considering the fact that the market share is low

(Table 2.5), the contribution of Optimist Tutorial Academy in the market gap is very

important to curb the number of consumers that can’t be catered by the present service

providers. This research supports that this proposed business will continue to grow along

with the growth of the industry of tutorial services.

Recommendation

Given that the proposed feasibility study showed a positive viability and

profitability, it is recommended that Optimist Tutorial Academy be realized. Given

enough resources and time, the business will expand its operation through extension of its

center to cater more costumers and consequently have a bigger market share in the

industry.
