Ministry of Defence. It’s Machilipatnam unit propose to engage 50 Graduate Engineering
apprentices and 26 Technician (Diploma) apprentices under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 for
a period of one year apprenticeship training in the following branches.

Eligibility Criteria to apply:


• Only Indian nationals are eligible
• Pass class in BE / B.Tech in the respective discipline for Graduate apprenticeship.
• Pass class in Diploma in the respective discipline for Technician (Diploma)
apprenticeship.
• Candidates should register their candidature as Apprenticeship on the web portal
www.mhrdnats.gov.in
• For graduate apprenticeship, candidates should have completed BE / B.Tech on or after
31.12.2017.
• For Diploma apprenticeship, candidates should have completed Diploma on or after
31.12.2017.

Process of Registration:
Step 1: Log on to www.mhrdnats.gov.in
Step 2: Click on Enroll
Step 3: Fill all the required fields (personal details, qualification details, upload
photo, signature & education documents, etc.,)
Step 4: Click on Submit. Registration number will be generated
Step 5: Take printout of the registration form
For detailed registration process candidates may go through Student user manuals at
(mhrdnats.gov.in). Student user manuals are attached for reference.

Selection methodology:

Graduate apprentices: The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in BE/B.Tech


shall be considered for selection criteria.

Technician (Diploma) apprentices: The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in


Diploma shall be considered for selection criteria.

After applying the above criterion and based on the vacancies, candidates shall be selected
in respective category (in the order of merit). Reservation will be followed as per
Government guidelines.

General Details:
• Candidates who fulfil the above eligibility criteria only need to apply for
apprenticeship training
• Reservation for EWS/OBC/SC/ST/PWD candidates will be applicable as per
Government guidelines
• The duration of Apprenticeship Training is ONE YEAR only
• Stipend will be paid as per Government norms (present rate of stipend for Graduate
apprentices is Rs. 11,110/- per month and for Diploma apprentices is Rs. 10,400/-
per month)
• Canteen facility will be provided at subsidized rates

• The names of the selected candidates will be made available on our company’s
website.

• Information pertaining to the selection will be sent to the selected candidates only by
e- mail

• Candidates are required to possess at least one valid e-mail ID which is to be


entered in the application form. Information pertaining to the selection will be sent to
the selected candidates only by e- mail to the e-mail ID which is furnished in the
application. BEL will not be responsible for bouncing of any e-mail sent to the

candidate. All correspondence will be through e-mail only. Applications
without email ID will be rejected.
• Interested candidates may send the prescribed application available on the Company’s
website (www.bel-india.in), through post, super-scribing on the envelope the name of
the post applied for along with the following self-attested documents:
i) Certificate / Marks Sheet issued by Board for Matriculation / Higher Secondary in
support of proof of age.
ii) All certificates (starting from Matriculation / Class X) in support of educational
qualifications. (Candidates having part-time or correspondence course in prescribed
qualification are not eligible).
iii) Conversion formula for conversion of CGPA / DGPA / OGPA or letter grade to
percentage, duly certified by the University / Institution, wherever applicable.
iv) Caste certificate if the candidate belongs to EWS/OBC/SC/ST
v) Disability certificate if the candidate belongs to PWD category
vi) Apprentice registration copy
vii) Latest passport size photo
The duly filled in application along with the above said documents should be sent to
Manager (HR), Bharat Electronics Limited, Post Box No.26, Ravindranath Tagore Road,
Machilipatnam- 521 001, Andhra Pradesh on or before 26.11.2020. Applications
received after the closing date / without the above said enclosures will be summarily
rejected.
