1 How to get Easergy Studio Installer?

To get the Easergy Studio Installer, go to www.se.com or use Schneider Electric Software update to be
inform of new releases and download automatically.

2 About release V9.2.1

This release provides a full installation of Schneider-Electric Easergy Studio V9.2.1.
- Its supersets version V9.2.0 and oldest.

- Please at installation, use update option of Easergy Studio installer.

- Or remove any previous version of Easergy Studio (do not remove the data models)
- Your database and systems will not be removed.
- Install afterwards Easergy Studio V9.2.1.

3 How to install
This installation
- is to be downloaded to your hard disk for later installation by running the .exe file
- is providing an installation shield for a most convenient upgrade of your Easergy Studio
- retains all existing systems (or projects)
- can be run multiple times

4 Windows compatibility
This Easergy Studio is compatible with Windows 10.

5 Known issue
5.1 Language installation
Mandatory to install English version in addition to another language file Germany, Portuguese, Spanish,
etc. After, the user can switch to his preferred language.

7 Computer characteristics (for information)

Minimum and recommended hardware requirements for Easergy Studio and other tools included UPCT,
P746 RHMI, P740 Topology Tool are based on all tools included in current installation package.
The results are based on Easergy Studio v9.2.1 requirements.

9 New features
9.1 Release V9.2.1
9.1.1 Command Line Tool to Transfer Easergy Micom P40 Data
Added new enhancement to extract events and disturbances from Micom P40 series.
9.2 Release V9.2.0
9.2.1 Template manager
Template management enables users to perform massive change propagation inside Studio System.
Template device is a new kind of element in Studio System – it mimics regular device in the way that it
allows to store and edit configuration files but it has all online
functionality like Send, Extract, Disturbance Records,
Measurements etc. removed. Template Device is a virtual
device that has one or more parts of its files or complete files
tagged as template. Template tagged part of a file is a part
that can be propagated to other files with same type and same
product reference. As templates are virtual devices which are
part of the system (as well as any other device). They can be
imported and exported as system elements. They can also be
created from a physical device (physical device can be copied
as a template)
A template device has the list of devices linked to it. This list
can be edited in a specific window in which user can select or
unselect which one of matching devices refers to the template.
Template files “marked as default” (source) are propagated to
linked devices files “marked as default” of the same type
(target).
9.2.2 Command Line Tool to Transfer Easergy Micom P40 Data
The command line makes possible for a user to extract Easergy Micom P40 settings file, events and
disturbances record with a command line. Additionally, it is also possible to send settings file to IED. All
operations with support for Cyber Security passwords.
9.2.3 Integration of Easergy Pro for Easergy P3 and Easergy P5 devices into Easergy Studio
Added possibility to manager all files from Easergy P3, Easergy P5, Micom P10, MiCOM P20, Easergy
Micom P30 and Easergy Micom P40 in to “Studio Explorer” project view.
Added possibility to create / open the off-line settings file from Easergy P3 and Easergy P5 devices.
Added possibility to create “Connections” into Studio Explorer.
Added possibility to save manually all Disturbance Records files into “Studio Explorer” project view.
9.2.4 User preferences – Enable/disable Safe Repository
The user can enable or disable from user preferences the option for Schneider Electric Safe Repository
clould.

9.2.5 New Data Model Server

For Cyber Security reason, the server of Easergy Micom device Data Models was updated. All the users
using Easergy Studio before version 9.0.0 should update to the newest release.

9.2.6 Export Multiple MCL/CID files

The user can export one of multiples MCL/CID files in the single operation.

9.2.7 Convert Multiple Settings Files

The user can convert multiples settings files to different software version in a single operation.

9.2.8 Access point configuration for Process Bus

The IED Configurator is enabled to manage the choice of access point for Process Bus projects.
9.2.9 Performance Issues
This release also corrects some performance and other issues.
