Many-a-times geographical data and the data related to space and character has to be
analyzed for some techniques, processes, multiple technologies and methods. But there
was no way to analyze the data needed so here a new concept was introduced called GIS
(Geographic Information System). GIS is one of the concepts which analyze and capture
geographic and spacial data and operation and organize the result in the form of table and
charts.

Many suppliers are offering Internet based service to the clients known as GIS mapping
services instead of downloadable software or data. These can be free, funded by
advertisement or paid on a subscription. They are available in three areas:

the geographic component of your data. It compute statistical summary and provides the
results in the form of charts and table from which engineers analyze the geographic
locations and take accurate decisions for the same.
