Objectives
The overall objective of the project is to establish a grocery supermarket and
a canteen at the plant of Lalitpur power generation company ltd, Lalitpur to
cater to the need of workers and staff of company and their families by
providing them quality food products, grocery and items of general needs
under one roof in hygienic, well maintained and customer friendly
environment at fair prices.

The proposal includes:

Canteen Service-Canteen will serve tea/coffee/cold drinks, snacks, high tea,


lunch/dinner etc. 7 days a week to staff and their families with special
arrangements for various official meetings, programs, seminars and
functions as organized by the company from time to time. In addition,
people visiting the campus/Plant in connection with various Business
activities can also avail these services. Canteen service will consist of a
kitchen, dining space, store, and washroom.

Venue for Canteen


At the entrance of garden near to residential staff colony/at any place
provided by the company for the same at your plant premises. We need to
erect a structure comprise of seating area, stalls, billing counter, kitchen,
store ,utensils washroom and toilets.

The Grocery supermarket concept, as shown in our plan, has an excellent


profitability level and growth rate. Our competitive edge is use of new retail

perishable and non-perishable consumer goods. We are living in an age
where unique grocery store environments are in great demand. The store will
differ from the traditional grocery store because of their added personal
touch.

Hours of Operation:
Store hours will be 7 days a week from 08:00 A.M. until 09:00 P.M. cash,
Cheques & all the credit cards will be accepted.

Terms and Conditions

1. XYZ food and stores will provide adequate number of trained/semi-


trained manpower required for providing good canteen services in Lalitpur
power generation company ltd campus.

2. The employees of XYZ food and stores will possess good health and
would be free from any diseases, especially contagious and frequently
recurring diseases. In case, an employee gets infected he/she will
immediately be replaced without delay in services.

3. XYZ food and stores is a responsible organization and makes timely


payment of wages to its workers.

4. XYZ food and stores ensures proper discipline among its workers and
further ensures that they would not indulge in any unlawful activity.

5. XYZ food and stores at all times keeps cleanliness of canteen premises at
utmost priority for maintaining hygienic environment.

6. XYZ food and stores uses only branded raw material for preparation of
items .

7. XYZ food and stores uses only fresh fruits and vegetable to ensure high
standard food quality.

8. XYZ food and stores can cater to the tastes of North Indian Employee,
staff and their families, in addition to serving south Indian Chinese and
Continental dishes.

9. Lalitpur power generation company ltd should provide XYZ food and
stores space for storing raw material, sitting and serving space, kitchen
equipment for cooking and preservation of perishable items, cutlery for
serving food, etc. free of cost.

10. Lalitpur power generation company ltd should also provide Water
Supply, Electricity and power connections ,Gas cylinders empty with
manifold connections, Intercom Facility, AC’s in Canteen Cafeteria ,
Kitchen Furniture (Table, Chairs, Commercial Electric Food Warmer
Cabinet, etc.),RO System , Drinking Water Cooler, electronic fly – kill /
insect repellent equipment and Exhaust for smooth functioning of Canteen
Services free of cost.

11. XYZ food and stores will be responsible for proper handling and safe
custody of equipment’s and space provided byLalitpur power generation
company ltd, Lalitpur

12. XYZ food and stores will bear the refilling cost of Gas cylinders.

13. XYZ food and stores will be responsible for washing and storing of
Crockery, Cutlery, and Glassware.

14. Repair and maintenance of kitchen equipment’s will be carried out by


XYZ food and stores bills raised would be beared byLalitpur power
generation company ltd, Lalitpur

15. The workers employed by XYZ food and stores will directly be under its
supervision, control and employment of XYZ food and stores and they shall
have no connection what-so-ever withLalitpur power generation company
ltd, Lalitpur Lalitpur power generation company ltdshall have no obligation
to control or supervise such workers or to take any action against them.

16. XYZ food and stores ensures that XYZ food and stores representative
will be available for proper administration and supervision at the works to
the entire satisfaction of the Lalitpur power generation company ltdat all
times.

PERIOD OF CONTRACT

17. The contract for XYZ food and stores Canteen Services shall remain
valid initially for a period of two years.

ELECTRICITY AND WATER CHARGES


18. XYZ food and stores will pay to the Institute electricity & water charges
on actual basis, for which sub meters have to be provided byLalitpur power
generation company ltd, Lalitpur

PAYMENT

19. Coupon system will be prevalent at the canteen. Employee, staff and
their families/Staff can purchase couponson the spot or before. Monthly
Bills will be raised only for tea/coffee supply at the Lalitpur power
generation company ltdoffices. Special Events/ Program Bills will also be
raised accordingly.

TERMINATION OF THE CONTRACT

20. The Contract can be terminated by either party, i.e., Lalitpur power
generation company ltdor <COMPANY NAME>, after giving three months
written notice to the other party extendable by mutual agreement .

21. Prior to termination of the contract, Lalitpur power generation company


ltd wiil clear all unpaid bills raised by <COMPANY NAME>.
