1. Mr. JOVEN LISSA successfully qualified as a welder on March 11, 2012 using the shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) process with single electrode in the downhill position for butt joints in steel plates up to 30mm thick. 2. The welder demonstrated qualification in the flat, horizontal, and vertical positions for both fillet and groove welds within the specified ranges. 3. Radiographic testing and a visual examination of the test welds were completed and found to be acceptable based on the standards.
