THE INTERNET

Today, the Internet has a great impact on society, allowing users to have
greater accessibility to social networks, as well as searching for information
using the most popular search engines such as thematic directories and search
engines such as Google.
Likewise, allowing navigation through the different pages that allow you to
download files related to the searched topics. It also allows to meet people from
other countries with the most known networks such as: Twitter, Facebook,
Messenger among others.
The Internet is the "network of networks" that uses TCP / IP as its
communication protocol. It is also defined as a network of computers that are
interconnected worldwide to share information.
Its origins date back to 1969, when the first computer connection was
established, known as ARPANET (Advanced Research Projects Network
Networks), between three universities in California (United States) ARPANET
was totally financed by the US government with the objective of being a
communication network immune to any Russian attack.
One of the most successful services on the Internet has been the World Wide
Web (WWW or the Web). The WWW is a set of protocols that allows, in a
simple way, remote consultation of hypertext files. this was developed in 1990
and from there I start the internet.
According to Manuel Castells, the internet is much more than a technology. It is
a means of communication, interaction and social organization
Also according to Bill Gates the internet provides the right information, at the
right time, for the right purpose.
Also, because of the changes in technology in the evolution of the internet we
ask ourselves: What innovations can we expect in terms of applications and
services?
The Internet will seek to enable connection services with various technologies
(optical fiber, satellite and LiFi, among others) at speeds much higher than
those currently available.
Google has defined seven points to consider for the development of the internet
in the future:
• A mobile Internet that provides connections to more and more devices.
• An omnipresent network where all points of the planet have access.
• High-speed navigation with large bandwidths;
• Cloud computing operating 24x7
•Online Advertising: Custom Marketing. For example: In England, online
advertising represents 25 percent of the total
• Real-time availability of all public and private services; for example: Millions of
people daily share photographs, videos, opinions, documents and all kinds of
content
•Social networks: According to Deloitte, 94% of businesses will increase their
investments in social networks, advertising and online communities.
For example: Facebook has more than 450 million users, Twitter exceeds 115
million, Google Buzz is available for more than 175 million users, and YouTube
sees more than 100 million videos every day.
The internet also allows us to communicate with family or friends who are in
other countries or cities through a video call (for example, Skype or Whatsap,
research and learn: libraries, museums and free books through the network.
It also has disadvantages in the use that society gives to it as many students do
not study, they only download information they copy and paste, some users
spend a lot of time alone with the computer and it is a problem and it is a
problem and it is the main source of piracy.
In conclusion the Internet is very important nowadays for people since it is easy
to access, internet allows access to different social networks, it’s easier to send
jobs by email, avoiding a waste of time and therefore, the Internet is the most
accessible means of communication.

Hoy en la actualidad el internet tiene un gran impacto en la sociedad,
permitiendo a los usuarios tener una mayor accesibilidad a las redes sociales,
al igual que ha permitido buscar información utilizando los buscadores más
conocidos como son directorios temáticos y los motores de búsquedas como
son Google. Así mismo, permitiendo la navegación por las diferentes páginas
que le permiten descargar archivos relacionados con los temas buscados.
También permite conocer a personas de otros países con las redes más
conocidas como son: Twitter, Facebook, Messenger entre otras.
Asimismo, por los cambios de la tecnología en la evolución del internet nos
preguntamos
¿Qué innovaciones podemos esperar en materia de aplicaciones y
servicios para el futuro del internet ? ¿Cuáles y cómo serán los
dispositivos que utilizaremos para interconectarnos al Internet ?
Internet es la "red de redes" que utiliza TCP/IP como su protocolo de
comunicación. También se define como una red de computadoras que se
encuentran interconectadas a nivel mundial para compartir información.
Sus orígenes se remontan a 1969, cuando se estableció la primera conexión
de computadoras, conocida como ARPANET(Advanced Research Proyects
Agency Networks, entre tres universidades en California (Estados Unidos).
ARPANET fue totalmente financiada por el gobierno norteamericano con el
objetivo de ser una red de comunicación inmune a cualquier ataque Ruso.
Uno de los servicios que más éxito ha tenido en internet ha sido la World Wide
Web (WWW o la Web).  La WWW es un conjunto de protocolos que permite de
forma sencilla, la consulta remota de archivos de hipertexto, esto se desarrollo
en 1990 y desde ahí inicio el internet.
Según Manuel Castells el internet es mucho más que una tecnología. Es un
medio de comunicación, de interacción y de organización social
Según Bill Gates el internet facilita la información adecuada, en el momento
adecuado, para el propósito adecuado.
El Internet buscará habilitar servicios de conexión con diversas tecnologías
(fibra óptica, satelital y LiFi, entre otras) a velocidades muy superiores a las
actualmente disponibles.
Google ha definido siete puntos a considerar para el desarrollo del internet en
el futuro.
 un Internet móvil que proporcione conexiones a cada vez más
dispositivos.
 una red omnipresente donde todos los puntos del planeta tengan
acceso.
 una navegación de alta velocidad con grandes anchos de banda;
 cómputo en la nube operando 24x7
 Publicidad Online: Marketing personalizado. Por ejemplo: En Inglaterra
la publicidad online representa el 25 por ciento del total
 disponibilidad en tiempo real de todos los servicios públicos y privados;
por ejemplo: Millones de personas comparten a diario
fotografías, vídeos, opiniones, documentos y toda clase de contenidos
 las redes sociales: Según Deloitte, el 94% de los negocios aumentarán
sus inversiones en redes sociales, publicidad y comunidades en línea.

El internet nos permite comunicarnos con familiares o amigos que estén en


otros países mediante una video llamada (por ejemplo, de Skype o Whatsap,
buscar información, investigar y aprender: bibliotecas, museos y libros gratuitos
a través de la red.
Así mismo también tiene desventajas en el uso que le da la sociedad como
muchos estudiantes no estudian, solo descargan información copian y pegan,
algunos usuarios pasan mucho tiempo solos con la computadora y es un
problema y es la principal fuente de piratería.
En conclusión, el Internet es muy importante hoy en día para las personas ya
que es de fácil acceso, permite tener acceso a las diferentes redes sociales,
enviar trabajos por correo electrónico, evitando una pérdida de tiempo y por lo
tanto, el Internet es la vía de comunicación más accesible.
