It’s a single symbol used to make a numeral.

0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 are the ten digits we use in our daily lives.

Example: The numeral 153 is made up of the digits "1", "5" and "3" and the numeral 9 is made
up of only one digit "9".

A number line is a straight line with numbers placed at equal segments or intervals along its
length.
A number line can be extended infinitely in any direction.

The numbers on the number line increase as you move from left to right.
