PROJECT PROFILES

1.Project Title: INTER CONNECTING BRIDGE AND ROUTER FOR NETWORKS.


Objective : The main objective of this project is done to bridge and route different networks
using a single Linux desktop. It boasts ease of use, reliability and small size.
Description: In this project we can connect three or four network together and can share
Internet access across those networks. Using a dialup modem we can access the Internet to the
server system and from that we can share we internet to all clients in different networks.
2.Project Title: NETCHAT.
Description: Netchat is a networking based project with which communication can be
established among various users. A chat application is utility software that enables users to
communicate over networks. A chat application can be efficiently used as a medium for
various forums. It can send the data between the two or more computers across the LOCAL
AREA NETWORK in a manner that would elimate the properties of a point-to-point private
link. The act of configuring and send the data and any type of file transfer is known as the
NETCHAT .NETCHAT can be implemented as an intranet also and completely replace the
private wide area network.
