1 Introduction

1.1PURPOSE
This report discusses the current status of Upgrading the Elevator in Electricity Building FOE.

1.2BACKGROUND
On the 2th of December 2018 I proposed a research report on Upgrading the Elevator in
Electricity Building Faculty of Engineering. The proposal included a solution to a problem in the
faculty of engineering, the upgrading of the elevator in the electricity building. The
proposal was accepted.

1.3SCOPE
This standing report shows my current assessment of the project as
of weekday the twelfth of Gregorian calendar month 2018. The statement of labor enclosed the
subsequent tasks.

Task 1: All of the parts and the whole elevator will be removed.
Task 2: New parts and a new elevator will be bought.
Task 3: there will be reconstruction of the side of the building for the new elevator as it will be
larger than the old one to be able to carry more students which will be faster and more efficient. .

Task 4: with the equipment provided by our company we will replace the old elevator with the
new one

2 STATUS
1.4 TASKS COMPLETED

Task 1: Successfully completed and reviewed on on the 5th of December without


any issues.
Task 2: Successfully bought the new parts on the 6th of December without any
problems.
Task 3: started the reconstruction operation and still working.(Not finished yet) .
1.5 TASKS REMAINING

Task 3: This task is in progress already and will be completed on the 20 th of


December. I’ve reviewed the prices of renting tools personally and finished the task
by sending them over to the administration.
Task 4: This task hasn’t been completed yet . The new elevators will be installed on
the 29th of December ,and will be available for students due to the second semester.

3 Conclusion

3.1 ASSESMENT

I am quite satisfied with the project progress at the moment. Every task has been
completed except for two are in process. The project status in terms of duration is
on track and should be completed by the 29th of December.
