Course Description
This three (3) unit course develops students’ proficiency in basic computer skill applications such as in
word processing, spreadsheets and presentation

Course Objectives (Desirable Objectives)


At the end of this course, the student should be able to:
1. Enhance students’ productivity and creativity through computer technology
2. Equip students with computer skills and knowledge needed to be competent individuals in
the information age
3. gain an academic edge by developing proficiency in using computer as tools for learning,

Some Important Points:


1. Attendance will be check or attendance sheet will be circulated at the beginning of the class. It is
the students’ responsibility to sign the sheet otherwise they will be considered absent for the
class.
2. Avoid entering late in the class. Students arriving late will only be allowed to sign the attendance
sheet or attendance will be checked only at the discretion of the instructor. If they leave before
the end of the class, they will be marked absent for the class (even if they signed at the beginning
at the class)
3. The course syllabus provides only a general plan for the course, deviations will be made when
necessary
