Jointing system :

We recommend coupling type of joints.

Double Bell Reka Coupling type . These are unrestrained collar joints made of
parent material I e GRP only.

Machine made joint : Coupling pipe is produced in a similar way as that of pipe. It
is machined in plant itself. Hence quality is consistent & does not vary with
people.

Flexible joint :It is a flexible joint & can adjust small deviations upto 3 deg in
coupling itself. Since there is one gasket on each end of the pipe, the flexibility is
double.

Built in expansion joint :Since this joint allows 10 mm gap inside the coupling
between two pipes, it acts as the expansion joint itself. There is no need to
provide separate expansion joint as each coupling takes care of the same.

Gaskets : In each coupling 2 gaskets are used which are of EPDM (ethylene
propylene Diane monomer) . This material is suitable for water & waste water
application.

These are not O ring type gaskets but have lips running along the
circumference. The lips sit on the pipe surface. The direction of lips is such that
as pressure inside the pipe increases, grip of lips on pipe increases & hence
there is no leakage through joints. The gasket sits in the wedge shaped groove
& hence gasket does not come out of its position easily.

Easy to assemble : It is very easy to join coupling joint . We need come along
jack/ chain pulley block. With only one day training labour can do fixing of
coupling. It does not require heavy machinery on site. Can be fixed when water
table is high & there is water inside the trench or its raining.

Fast Laying : Each coupling joint takes 15/20 min for 1 joint & hence laying is
fast.
