DEMOGRAPHY
This chapter presents a basic overview of Calbayog City’s existing demographic characteristics, development Population Distribution
and some socio-economic trends. More detailed information pertaining to sectoral plans can be found in the
succeeding sections of the Master Plan. The household population of Calbayog is sparsely distributed among the 157 barangays of the city. Brgy. San
Policarpo, one of the city’s urban barangays, accounted for the biggest share with 4 percent of the city’s total in
