• Test result showed that 5KA is ok for the AC surge protection

System design recommendation:


•The SUN2000 inverter reaches Type III protection level on the AC side, and is able to handle normal
electric surges. However, if the installation site is expected to face frequent thunderstorm weather, and
if the AC wiring is very long, it is recommended to add separate higher grade SPD component in the
AC combiner box.
