In 2017, Bangladesh earned close to $800 million from exporting software and providing IT services such as outsourcing and freelancing. • IT industry of Bangladesh is growing at an impressive rate over the last few years. The
average growth rate of IT industry has been 40% in last five years. BASIS has claimed
that there are over.

• 800 registered it farms in Bangladesh. There are another few hundreds of unregistered
companies doing business for both local and international markets. 

• In 2017 Bangladesh nearly earned $800 million by exporting software and providing IT
related service like outsourcing and freelancing.

• There are some category. But some major components are given below:
