Elaborate critically on the implementation of inclusive education in schools and the crucial factors that contribute to the success of the programme. (C4, PLO3, TPS!) 3. Analyse the roles and responsibilities of stakeholders in the implementation of inclusive education. (C4, PLO3, CTPS2) 4, Design teaching and learning activities meant for children with learning disabilities visual impairment and hearing impairment in the mainstream classrooms by referring to various sources. COURSEWORK OBJECTIVES Students will be able to: 4. elaborate the concepts, aims and policy of inclusive education (CLO1,C2, PLO1) 2, design and develop a digital innovation product [TSL3152, BMMB3152, PIMK3152] which serves as a teaching and learning aid that can be used by students in Inclusive 1 Education Programme and also pupils with special educational needs [BMMB3132, PIMK3132]. (CLO4, C6, A2, PLO3, PLO6, CTPS3, LL1) 3. analyse the roles and responsibilities of school administrators and parents in the implementation of inclusive education. (CLO3, C4, PLO3, CTPS2) 4. write an Individual Lesson Plan (ILP) for a pupil who cannot hold a pencil correctly to produce eligible handwriting and have difficulty in associating sounds to alphabet. (CLO4, C6, A2, PLO3, PLO6, CTPS3, LL1) Stimulus. “Regular schools with an inclusive orientation are the most effective means of combating discriminatory attitudes, creating welcoming communities, building an inclusive society and achieving education for all... Salamanca Statement and Framework for Action on Special Needs Education (UNESCO 1994) TASK 1: Academic Writing - Individual task (20%) 1. Inclusive education provides every child in a community better learning opportunities Elaborate the basic concepts, aims and policy of inclusive education that is being implemented in our country. School administrators and parents are also the agents of inclusive education. Analyse their roles and responsibilities in ensuring the success of the implementation. You may relate your discussion to the implementation of inclusive education in the era of Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR). 2. The evaluation above must be written in essay format in about 600 words. 3. Evaluation will be made on the content, language, organization, critical thinking and problem solving skills. TASK 2: Teaching Aid -NPDL TASK: (TSLB3152, BMMB3152, PIMK3152, BMMB3132, PIMK3132) - Individual task (20%) 1, Develop a digital innovation product (TSLB3152, BMMB3152, PIMK3152) that can solve problem(s) in teaching and learning sessions. The digital innovation product must have potentials to be commercialised and can also be used by pupils from Inclusive Education Programme and pupils with special educational needs (BMMB3132 & PIMK3132) as a teaching and learning materials. 2. The evaluation criteria are the quality of feedback, durability, usability, critical thinking and problem solving skills and life long learning skills. 3. The submission for this task will include: * The final product could be presented in ONE of these formats depending on the type of your innovation product :- * The printscreen of online applications and URL if the product is an application design. * Shorten URL such as bit.ly or others. * ACD containing the softcopy of the digital innovation product labeled with the student's name, the title of innovation, programme option, group, and printscreen. TASK 3: Writing of Individual Educational Plan - Individual Task (20%) 1. You have a pupil who cannot hold a pencil correctly to produce eligible handwriting and have difficulty in associating sounds to alphabet. Create one Individual Educational Plan (IEP) to solve this problem by using a correct or effective strategy or technique 2. Use the current IEP format. The duration of the IEP should not exceed 6 months. 4, The evaluation criteria are the format, objectives of IEP, strategy and technique offered, critical thinking and problem solving skills and life long learning skills. PROCEDURE 1. This coursework requires students to work individually. No duplication of assignments from other students or coursework is allowed.
