Physics Icse Projects PDF

1) The document describes two physics projects for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students on verifying Ohm's Law and how resistance varies with length. 2) For the first project, students measure the current and voltage across a fixed resistor and record the values in a table. They then plot a graph of voltage vs. current and determine the slope, which should equal the resistance. 3) For the second project, students measure the current and voltage through resistive wires of varying lengths. They record the values in a table and calculate the resistance for each length, which should be directly proportional to the length.

3RD PROJECT
AIM
To verify ohms law.

APPARATUS
voltmeter, ammeter, fixed resistance, Cell of 2 V, connecting wire, key.
Jockey.
Metre bridge.

THEORY
When all other physical conditions and temperature remaining
constant current passing through a conductor is directly proportional
to the potential difference across its two
ends.
V proportional to I

WORKING FORMULA : V = IR.

OBSERVATIONS
Least count of ammeter = 0.025 A
Least count of voltmeter = 0.05 V

4TH PROJECT

Aim
To show that resistance of a wire varies with length.

Apparatus
Dry cells, ammeter, voltmeter, key, resistance wire of 100 cm length,
