This chapter presented the summary of findings, the conclusions, and the
recommendations which are extended to further recommendations for future
research. The following are the findings of this experimental research: There
was a significant difference of the effectiveness of the activated charcoal as
alternative teeth whitening when using various concentration in terms of
whiteness, cleanliness and also the duration of plaque removal when applied
to the teeth. Additionally, it shows that before using the alternative teeth
whitening which is the activated charcoal (Carbon) it was clearly observed
that the teeth is not that white and clean compared after the teeth that has
been applied the alternative teeth whitening solution already. Also, the
results showed that the most effective concentration was the concentration C
which contained 4 capsule of activated charcoal, 3 drop peppermint oil, 3
tbs. coconut oil. A significant difference has been proved between the
alternative activated Charcoal and the commercialize product in terms of its
effectivity with regarded to the whiteness, and duration of plaque removal.
Based on the findings and conclusion, the one of the best recommendations
are hereby offered in order to obtain the effectiveness of the activated
charcoal and it should be done before using the product, the user must
consult a dentist first for the safety. This will allow them to discover beyond
the uses of activated charcoal (Carbon) and to the future researcher’s whose
aim is to create new experiment that could be useful in the daily living. This
will help them further understand the effectiveness of activated charcoal
(Carbon) as an alternative teeth whitening agent solution.
