The Role
The Paid Media Executive is responsible for managing paid media activities for our clients and producing
results against agreed KPIs.
Working closely with the Paid Media Manager and account management team - you will provide
dedicated assistance by meeting client biddable media needs on a daily basis. This work may at times be
short notice or ad hoc and requires a level of flexibility and a willingness to adapt to the changing
requirements of our client base, covering a number of ad platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads and
social media advertising.
Responsibilities
1. Actively contribute to the management of paid media accounts for our clients on a daily, weekly and
monthly basis.
2. Work with the Paid Media Manager and account management team to ensure that all client accounts
meet the robust commercial strategy that is in place and the specific performance targets and objectives
that have been agreed.
3. Manage budgets in line with strategy and ensure that monthly spend is on target to deliver the required
return on investment.
4. Continually measure and report on the effectiveness of your campaigns over the timeframes determined
by their level of budget.
5. Work with the content team to ensure landing pages are effectively optimised for conversion.
6. Clearly and effectively communicate with the team and where necessary - clients - by email and in
meetings or conference calls.
7. Make constructive and proactive recommendations to the Paid Media Manager and account
management team around appropriate levels of client spend and identify upsell opportunities.
8. Effectively brief paid media tasks to colleagues where appropriate, providing detailed instructions, clear
required outputs and support throughout.
9. Maintain an awareness of emerging tools and software that enhance our offering and processes and keep
up to date with emerging legislation that impacts paid media.

Skills
1. A detailed understanding of paid media platforms; how they are used, relative audiences, their role in the
marketing mix and customer decision-making process as well as how to generate results from each.
2. An analytical eye and overarching interest in using data to influence your decision-making.
3. Ability to write engaging, call-to-action focused ad copy and messaging.
4. Eye for detail and a thorough approach to everything that falls within your working day.
5. Be available to attend internal meetings in order to stay up to date with changes to client strategy and
extract a brief for any future tasks.
6. The ability to confidently articulate ideas and opinion to your Line Manager and - where appropriate in a
structured setting - the wider team or clients.
7. Have a methodical and structured approach to research that allows you to consolidate your findings
quickly and effectively.

Ultimately your success in this role will be determined by the manner in which you develop, scale and
improve our paid media offering, alongside achieving and accurately measuring outstanding ROI figures
for our clients on a personal level. Other suggestions are as follows:
1. Achieving and maintaining industry accreditations across all applicable paid media platforms and Google
Analytics.
2. Contribute to the agency achieving Google Premier Partner status and other partnerships where
applicable.
3. Develop and improve our processes around attribution modelling in order to more accurately
demonstrate ROI on client campaigns.
4. Produce case study level work that contributes to the Directors and account management team being
able to upsell paid media as a service to new and existing clients.
5. Lead an award-winning marketing campaign - having contributed heavily to the award submission.
6. Contribute thought leadership to internal and external communications.
7. Frequently recognised through the comments of your colleagues for your work and attitude within the
company monthly MVP programme.
