Abstract
Indonesia is an archipelago country consisting of 17,504 lands spread in 34
provinces. One of them is West Nusa Tenggara Province. In addition,
Indonesia is also a country rich in traditional games because Indonesia has
more than 1,340 ethnic groups. If it is assumed that one ethnic group only has
two traditional games, then in Indonesia there will be around 2,680 types of
traditional games. Traditional games are games that develop from generation
to generation and usually contain elements of education that can stimulate
aspects of child development such as motoric skill, cognitive ability, language,
social-emotional, creativity and character. This article will describe the
perceptions of kindergarten teachers about the use of traditional games in the
learning process in kindergarten. The research method uses descriptive
qualitative with interview techniques. The research subjects were 100
kindergarten teachers in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province. Research time
July - October 2018. The results of the study show that the use of traditional
games in learning in kindergarten is only enriching and is not optimal and
needs to be encouraged so that Indonesian traditional games, especially in
NTB can be preserved and empowered to stimulate aspects of child
development.

Abstract
This research aims to unravel the linguistic concept of Chomsky's theory of
generative transformation and Al-Jurja ni 's naz}m, to reveal who it affects
and is affected, as well as proving the statment Chomsky that this theory can
be implemented on the world languages including Arabic. The main conclusion
of this research shows us that the presence of Al thoughts-interference Al-Jurja
ni into the theory of Chomsky's linguistic especially generative transformation
theory. The main conclusion of this research shows us that the presence of Al
thoughts-interference Al-Jurja ni into the theory of Chomsky's linguistic,
especially generative transformation theory. This research included
qualitative and qualitative research (library research) that are included in the
category of historical textual research on manuscripts. As for the research
method used is the descriptive method and analysis-synthesis using the content
analysis approach (contain analytic) and comparative between the Generative
Grammar book of Noam Chomsky and the book of Dala il Al-' Ija z Al-Jurja
ni. This research aims to uncover more details of the theory of transformational
generative and compare it with Al-jurja ni 's theory existing long before
transformational generative theory appears. At the same time proves the
existence of the concept of influence Al-Jurja ni against the theory of Chomsky.
it has been conducting. Chomsky is very proficient and very well versed in
Hebrew and grammar. This can be ascertained because indeed his father was
an expert in the field of Hebrew grammar. As we know, the Hebrew language
is still cognate in Arabic. So thus, it is very possible for Chomsky not only to
master Hebrew but also to understand Arabic, which is still closely allied to
Hebrew. Even passed from several references stating that Chomsky had
studied Al-A jru miyah (Juru miyyah) to Franz Rosenthal who also mastered
Arabic. Therefore, it can be ascertained that Chomsky also understands
Arabic. On the other hand, there are other supporting the data source which
states that he has been lived and struggled in Spanish and has done many
studies on linguistics and science based on the methods and manners of Arabic.
Therefore, it is also possible for Chomsky to read and dive Arabic books,
especially Arabic grammar. So that it was very possible when he wrote his
Master's thesis, Chomsky has got a lot of inspiration from the Arabic
grammatical system, especially Al-Jurja ni linguistic thought. Moreover,
according to Tamma m H{assa n, Chomsky belongs to one of the linguists who
admire the thought of Al-Jurja ni . This is an important point in this research.

UNIVERSITAS TERBUKA
Abstract
This research examines mathematical disposition of students after going
through the learning process with a strategy of a Model Eliciting Activities
(MEAs). This Quasi-static research with comparison group design involves
122 eight-grade students. The students are from secondary school of high and
middle category. The data was collected through instruments that is
mathematical disposition scale. The data are analyzed by using average
differential test and two-ways ANOVA. The results, both for the combined data
at a high and middle category of Secondary School, is mathematical dispotition
of students engaged in learning with MEAs strategy are better than those of
the students engaged in conventional learning. The effect of MEAs learning on
mathematical disposition is not affected by school category and a prior
knowledge of mathematics. This is indicated by no significant interaction effect
between the school category with learning category, between a prior
knowledge of mathematics and learning category to mathematical disposition.

Universitas Terbuka Bandung
Abstract
Open University Students S1 Study Program Indonesian Language Education
is a teacher who actively teaches in junior and senior high school equivalent.
As an Indonesian Language Education teacher, they are required to be able to
speak Indonesian well and correctly. Both in spoken language and in written
language. To equip their language skills, Open University requires them to
take language skills courses, namely: Listening, Reading, Writing, and
Speaking. In fact, their Indonesian language skills are not as good and correct
as expected. This was evident when they took the PBIN 4219 Literature
Appreciation Teaching online course tutorial. In PBIN 4219 online tutorial
discussion forum, their written language skills proved to be not good and
correct. Good criteria related to the content delivered. Correct criteria related
to the accuracy of the use of linguistic rules. This paper describes the use of
Indonesian in written variety by students of the Indonesian Language
Education Open University online tutorial participants PBIN 4219 Literature
Appreciation Teaching. The method used is the descriptive method by
describing the variety of student writing in a discussion forum about spelling
and sentences. Inaccuracies in the use of spelling found there are four types,
namely in writing: (1) letters, (2) words, (3) punctuation, and (4) absorption
elements. Inaccuracies in writing sentences found there are three types,
namely: (1) incomplete sentences, (2) prepositions, (3) affixation, and (4)
reasoning. The impressions arising from the writing of the students show that
they consider that the discussion forum on PBIN 4219 online tutorial is a
value-free social media forum.

FKIP-Universitas Terbuka
Abstract
This study aims to determine the management and implementation of courses
practicing in Early Childhood Education Study Program. The evaluation was
done using the andquot; The Hierarchy of Policy Processandquot; framework
of Bromley (1989). The analysis is conducted on 3 levels of policy-making
hierarchy, 1) the level of policy making itself, 2) the level of strategy
formulation to implement the policy and 3) the operational level in
implementing the policy. The approach used in this research is
andquot;Context, Input, Process, Product / CIPPandquot; by looking at these
four components in the implementation of tutorials in practicing subjects. The
results of this study are 1). Policies related to the assignment of courses with
practical assignments have been made at UT, contained in the UT Catalog to
serve as reference for all related work units in the implementation of face-to-
face tutorials. However, the UT Catalog has not been used as the main
reference in the implementation of tutorials, either by tutors or students. 2).
The formulation of strategies for conducting practicing course tutorials has
been done by preparing tutorial support components in the Distance Learning
Program Unit in the region. However, there is no synergy between the UT
policy and the implementation strategy of practicing subjects in the field, 3).
The tutor's perception of course tutorial process is very good practice, seen
from learning strategy used in tutorial, 4). Students' perceptions of the course
tutorial process are inadequate because the information contained in the UT
Catalog is not fully understood 5). the implementation of tutorials for practice
courses take place especially when the tutor on duty has a high commitment to
help students learn.

Abstract
This study is to determine the condition of the impact of online games on the
behavior of language aggression in adolescents in adolescents. at an Internet
cafe. The method used is observation of 4 internet cafes in South Tangerang.
Through observations that have been made by researchers, the results of this
study are many languages and dirty words that appear and become a mockery
on internet cafe users, including the words monkey, dog, dog, dog, pig,
turmeric, and others. Of course this is very influential for the development of
adolescent language when they are at school and at home with the habit of
throwing dirty and unethical words both to fellow friends and older people.
This will become a habit if left unchecked, this is where the role of the family
is the parent to always control and the school as an educational institution that
helps the community instill character and morals in society.

Abstract
This research aimed to find out distance learners' readiness in taking the
remedial online examination. Data is collected using questioners. Data were
analyzed using regression analysis to determine whether the factors of
independent learning ability, the ability to operate computers, and activeness
in the tutorial affect distance learners' outcomes. The results of the study
show that: there is no positive and significant influence on the ability of self-
study towards the online examination scores for remedial distance learners .
This shows that Tutorial Learning Support (X3) does not affect the Online
Exam Score (Y) for remedial distance learners. These results prove that self-
directed learning, com-puters operating skill, and tutorial learning support for
remedial distance learners do not influence their online exam scores. There
must be other factor (s) which may influence their competence as distance
learners.

Abstract
Managing online learning is differed from face-to-face path even both learning
systems applied technology communication. Online learning has a specific
path that need to employ either for tutors or students. Students have to learn
how to study through technology. Tutors and administrators have to design
courses and interact with students through technology. Since of that then tutors
and students need to examine about some literatures; 1) learn how to use
technology, materials, and procedures 2) ask questions 3) try to know
colleagues and tutors. Technology literacy is one of the salient path that both
tutors and students need to have best before tutor design courses and develop
guidance for students. Students have also need to have orientations as a high
literate on technology apply to online learning they attend. This paper will

Abstract
Since the release of School-Based Curriculum (KTSP) in 2006 to the
application of new curriculum of Curriculum 2013, the government has
introduced functional texts within the umbrella of Genre-Based Approach
(GBA) with various short and long texts for all materials of elementary and
secondary levels. However, the application of this approach is not followed by
upgrading teachers' knowledge on the concept of functional texts which are
closely related to Functional Linguistics. This research tried to analyze the
teachers' knowledge on GBA with the data taken from teachers of Junior and
Senior High Schools when they were on the preparation of upgrading to be
professional teachers (PLPG 2017 and PPG 2018) by online program, and
during the program in university classrooms. The results show that most of the
teachers got misconception in some expressions in GBA as they still thought
about surface structures and traditional grammar, while GBA mostly discusses
about the meanings. In other words, the linguistic competence of those teachers
needs to be upgraded.

Open University of Indonesia
Abstract
unfortunately, many parents and teachers are
Preschoolers are creative individuals,
less aware or less able to appreciate children's creativity. They prefer children
who are always obedient and do things that parents want or do the same things
as other children. Originality is less acceptable, considered difficult, and can
even be dangerous. Without realizing it, well-intentioned adults, on the pretext
of instilling discipline and obedience, do not provide the seeds of children's
creativity to grow and develop. Educational services to early childhood are a
very influential basis for the development of children throughout childhood.
Hurlock said that the early years of a child's life are the foundation that tends
to survive and influence the attitudes and behavior of children throughout their
lives. Every child has creative talent and in terms of education, creative talent
can be developed and fostered early on. Based on the importance of parenting
patterns in increasing children's creativity, the problem is how parents'
parenting is seen as effective in increasing children's creativity. The method
used in this research is a cross-sectional study. Conduct-ed at Ananda
Kindergarten Open University with a sample of 30 children. With primary and
secondary data types. Data obtained through observation, interviews and
documentation studies. From the results of the study, it can be seen that the sex
and birth order of children does not correlate with the parenting style applied
by parents at home. Family characteristics do not correlate with their
parenting style, nor do children with child characteristics for creativity. There
is a significant relationship between the education of fathers and children's
creativity in dealing with boredom, besides that, it also shows a significant
relationship between the opinions of mothers within answering children's
questions in play activities that can enhance creativity. There is a significant
relationship be-tween the care given by parents to the child's imagination,
knowing the surrounding environment, answering questions raised by
children, thus increasing the child's ability to experiment, giving rise to new
stimuli so that children can overcome boredom.

Abstract
This article aims to see an assessment of critical education concepts reviewed
in a paradigmatic frame and seen from the perspective of Islamic education.
The orientation of education in Islamic education is to arouse and actualize all
the potential possessed by humans holistically. As education aims to work on
the reality of human consciousness, free will, critical reasoning, and creativity,
critical education should methodologically rest on the principles of total
reflection and action. The Islamic education paradigm strongly emphasizes
social aspects and togetherness. In this case Islamic education is based on the
principle of Ibda 'bi nafsih (start from yourself). However, this principle is not
understood as a selfish individualistic attitude. Emphasis on yourself, as a
starting point in the education process and has positive consequences for
communal interests. As for the concept of Islamic education, it essentially
emphasizes humanization and liberation as an educational orientation and
places learners and educators as a subject in the learning process. Islamic
education combines vertical (spirituality) and horizontal (social) aspects in a
single educational orientation. This is in contrast to the paradigm of critical
education which places its emphasis more on materialistic matters and less on
spiritual aspects.

Abstract
This study concludes that students at PTKIN learn English because of
normative needs, namely to pass a course. Meanwhile, the determinant factors
that influence the effectiveness of learning English are not only on the aspect
of need, but rather on aspects of teaching material. This research does not
refute the theory that the method is more important than the material. The
results obtained by several findings include that the teaching methods used at
PTKIN Indonesia are quite varied and have differences and similarities
between one and another. Most use the grammar translation method, explain
the rules of language and translate text and some others use the role play
method, drill discussion, assignments and so on. The teaching material used is
teaching material that tends to be massive. Lecturers are more concerned with
how the learning process is conducive rather than having to force it to fulfill
the curriculum.

Abstract
The importance of acquiring the six literacies of basic life skills has grown in
attention, resulting in an increase of programs and policies across countries
worldwide. The Indone-sian government recognizes literacy as a national
movement; as such, it welcomes any number of diverse programs with the
common goal of establishing literacy across multiple life skills. One of the six
literacies considered to be a fundamental life skill is financial literacy. Thus,
it has become a priority for program development. Developing financial
literacy through formal education or more non-formal financial training
programs has be-come a trending issue among teens, adults, the working
sector, young couples, and retir-ees. But, does financial education need to
begin as early as elementary school? This case study will examine the current
financial literacy of elementary school students via survey, as well as identify
potential areas of need across several elementary schools in Bandung,

Abstract
Although open universities have provided online tutorial learning assistance
services, not all physics education students have followed them. This is possible
because of technical problems and lack of socialization to students as a whole
and right. This happens because students do not understand the internet, do
not have enough time to activate the online tutorial activities and the lack of
information for students that online tutorials will help students graduate as
much as 50% for courses that are followed and actively participate in online
tutorials for courses that is. Another complaint raised by students was related
to the response given by the tutor very long, it made students lazy to do the next
activity. The same tutorial assignments are given each semester. Based on the
student's complaints, then the problem as far as Open University must improve
itself so that the services provided to students can be best utilized by students.

Abstract
Open University (UT) students can study individually, in groups, and online.
Practicum is a course at UT, like other subjects. Practicum courses include
science, physics, chemistry, and biology practicum. Practicum is a form of
learning activities through observation, ex-periment, or testing a concept, and
principles. Conducted inside and outside the laboratory, aims to strengthen
lecture material. The material for practicum at UT is an activity guide,
packaged in the form of modules. Implementation was carried out throughout
the UPBJJ-UT in Indonesia, guided by instructors appointed by the local
UPBJJ-UT. The purpose of the study was to examine the model of carrying out
the science teaching practicum FKIP-UT so that the lecture practicum at
FKIP-UT had good quality. Based on the data obtained that the
implementation of PMIPA-FKIP-UT practicum is not as easy as Conventional
University. One and the other students are difficult to meet, because the
location of residence dwells, and the UPBJJ has difficulty determining the
implementation. UPBJJ adopted a policy that students practice in a high
school near their homes and activities are managed by Learning Groups
(Pokjar) in the Regency. The results of interviews from the Head of UPBJJ and
BBLBA Coordinator, if partnered with a local university, the cost is too high
especially if the number of students is small. This is an obstacle in the
implementation of practicum in each UPBJJ. In general, the current model has
been to orient the instructor, laboratory assistant and report assessor.
Monitoring is carried out by UPBJJ-UT academic staff once during the
activity. It was felt the implementation of the model was quite difficult, due to
the limitations of the instructor as a supervisor on site. Submission of funds to
the Central UT is not well understood by the managers at UPBJJ, so a model
and financing mechanism that refers to implementation is needed.

Abstract
Traffic signs are a tool used to provide motorist information about the rules
that must be implemented by road users. The introduction of traffic signs must
be done early on in children; this is because many drivers do not obey traffic
signs when driving. The application is a supporting device in solving problems
faced by humans. We developed an Android-based educational game for
elementary schools that provides an introduction to traffic signs in a fun way
that doesn't impress learning in the true sense. Our application test was carried
out on 30 elementary school students who were in grade 5. The method we
used to gain the cognitive abilities of students was to do a pre-test, play a game
and post-test. The pre-test and post-test process are providing multiple-choice
questions. The process of playing games by students is for 10-20 minutes. The
process of playing this game is done every day for two months. At the end of
the month, we do a post-test. From the results of the post-test conducted by
researchers, it found that the traffic sign educational game developed by the
researcher capable of helping elementary school students' understanding of
traffic signs and the function of traffic signs. For the usefulness of the
application, researchers used ISO 9126-3 usability factors, and from the test
results the educational game application is very useful as an instructional
medium for primary school student learning aids

Abstract
The present research is conducted to critically analyse the contemporary
perspectives on Islamic sharia laws in the capital city of Aceh, Banda Aceh.
Special attention is paid to the reality of the implementation of the Islamic
sharia laws and the perception and valuation towards the implementation of
Islamic laws. This field research has been conducted by means of participant
observation as the principle method. Besides a meticulous observation, in-
depth discussions with informants on the problems have also been done. The
result of the research shows that the reality of the implementation of sharia
laws has tended towards on the physical things; it is based on matters relating
to women's clothing, seclusion, and writing Arabic names for the government
institutions and so forth, while the substance of the application of sharia has
not yet appeared fully. The implementation of sharia is still more on symbolic
discourses, while the goals and objectives of sharia have not yet been fully
understood and implemented. Not all the applications of sharia law have been
fully run in accordance with the rules and procedures as well the objectives of
the sharia laws itself. Meanwhile, what has already existed today can be said
in general still somehow in the 'skin level' only. However, many informants
admitted that the implementation of Islamic sharia laws is relatively successful
compared to the years before Islamic sharia laws were legalized and
implemented completely.

Abstract
Regional autonomy gives flexibility to the region to manage and discover the
potential of natural resources in proportion to the carrying capacity of which
are owned by the region. Thus, there is no jealousy and injustice that occurs
between the central and local governments. Aceh province, Special Province
of Jakarta (DKI-Jakarta) and Yogyakarta Province (DIY-Yogyakarta) are the
three provinces in Indonesia were granted and recognized special status as an
autonomous region or privileges that are different from other provinces. This
type of research used in this research is normative-empirical. Normative-
empirical legal research (applied normative law) is written positive law
researches regarding the real behavior (in action) every citizen as a result of
normative legal enforceability. The results showed that autonomy was
implemented in Indonesia through Law No. 22 of 1999 on Regional
Government. In 2004, Law No. 22 Year 1999 on Regional Government
considered incompatible with the development of the state, public
administration, and the demands of regional autonomy that was replaced by
Law No. 32 of 2004. Furthermore, Law No. 32 of 2004 on Regional
Government until now has been amended several times, the last time with Law
Number 12 Year 2008 regarding the Second Amendment to Law Number 32
Year 2004 on Regional Government. This is an excellent opportunity for local
government to prove its ability to implement the rights of local authorities.
Forward or not an area is determined by the ability and willingness to carry
out those local governments. The local government and the creative freedom
of expression in order to build the area, of course, do not violate the law.

Marginal people in Indonesia are residents who need special attention in
meeting the needs of education. Education for the marginalized is an activity
that does not have a big impact on the changes in their lives. Therefore the
