Recruitment System

Aim:
To develop a web based applications for recruitment
system.
Problem Statement:
In this recruitment website, candidates can upload their
resume and apply for jobs which are suitable for them. Then we post
them by giving interview details.

The website will have the following types of users.

• Consultant

• Candidate

Activities of a Consultant:
Consultant is the controller of the website; he has got complete
power over the website. He has complete control to manage jobs and
current job listing, shortlist candidates and schedule/track interviews.
Keep track of the complete recruiting process with numerous stages,
avail mail templates, view reports and set system parameters.

Consultant of the company has to carry out the following functions:

• Login - Completely secure; only authorized personnel can


edit/modify material on the site.

• Logout

• Retrieve Lost Password

• Change Password
• View Registration details of company

• View/Edit Company and Contact details

• View/Edit Company logo picture

• Manage Jobs (View/Edit/Delete) Current List of jobs

o Displays a list of all the Jobs


o HR can edit and add job pages
o Activate/Deactivate Job posting

• Resume Search - A search page which lists from the available


resumes, a list of resumes according to the search criteria. Search
criteria being:

o Skills
o Employment type
o Salary
o Willing to Relocate

• Applications received- Lists all the applications of candidates who


have applied for various jobs

• The listing id done based on the filter criteria. Search criteria being:

 Job code
 Name
 E-mail address
 Interview Stage No.
• Shortlist Candidates and Schedule/tracking interviews for
candidates.

• Recruiting Process - Stages (Post Recruitment Process)


 Screening and scheduling
 HR Interview
 Process linked Interview
 Final Interview (offer - acceptance/reject)
 Joining

• View interview schedules

Activities of Candidate:
A candidate can perform the following functions:

1. Register

2. Login

3. Logout

4. Retrieve Lost Password

5. Change Password

6. My Home

7. Search Job Listings (Quick Search & Advanced Search)

8. View/Edit Registration (personal profile) Details

9. View/Edit Resume Builder - The Resume builder contains


the following details:

i. Introduction
ii. Experience summary
iii. Experience Details
iv. Education/ Training/Certification
v. Skills
vi. Upload resume and pictures
vii. General details

10. Apply for jobs

 There is no limit as such to apply for jobs, but if a job is


offered and accepted he/she is not allowed to apply
any more jobs. Similarly if rejected for any job he/she
will not be allowed for any more jobs for a limited
period of six months

11. Receive Email updates

12. Activate/Deactivate resume

13. Check status of jobs applied and view interview schedule

14. Receive Interview scheduled via email

15. Receive/Accept Offer notification
