ACTIVITY PROPOSAL

I. TITLE: LEADERSHIP CAMP 2017

II. RATIONALE

The Cagayan State University is continuously producing competent graduates


who become at par with other graduates locally and internationally. Most of the graduates
were the student leaders of the university who were active in academics and in
leadership. Hence, the Campus Student Government of Piat annually conducts
Leadership Training cum Team Building as one of the many ways to develop student
leaders to become competent graduates. Aside, the CSG wants to build harmonious
relationship, unity and camaraderie within and among student leaders inside and outside
the campus. In this light, this training is very essential for the student leaders.

III. OBJECTIVE

a. to hone the leadership skills and values of the student leaders


inside and outside the campus.
b. to build harmonious relationship among the student leaders

II. Rationale

Spark a Change, Make a Difference.

This has been the slogan of the Campus Student Government


( CSG )- Piat every time it plans its activities for the school year. Also, this
has been the banner of every organization in the campus in realizing their
goals to lead and create an impact to this institutions’ innovative environment.

The new set of CSG officers has undergone their Strategic


Planning last June 24. During the said affair, the student- leaders gathered
information and suggestions for their Action Plan for the School Year 2017-
2018. One of their plans is to adapt a barangay in Piat which will serve as the
extension community of CSG School Year 2017-2018. The goal of the
organization is to extend help, support and create an impact to the nearby
community and it is through realizing the stated activity where the CSG can
achieve its objectives.

Based on the action plan, the CSG plans to have a “Plant a Tree for
a Green Community”

Truly, it is in the above mentioned reasons why the new set of


officers planned to make a change and spark a difference not only in the
campus but to its nearby community.
III. Objectives

The activity aimed to:


1. extend help in the nearby communities of CSU Piat; and
2. awaken the citizens about the importance of bayanihan in the community.

IV. Expected Outcome

1. The citizens of barangay Baung will be aware of the simple yet significant
issues that are taking place in the community.
2. The citizens of barangay Baung as well as CSG Officers will be awaken about
the importance of sharing and extending help to the needy people in the
community.
3. The CSG officers will be exposed to real issues that are taking place in the
community.

V. General Description of the Activity

1. The CSG officers will conduct a feeding program and giving of school
supplies to the children of Baung on July 26, 2017.
2. The CSG officers will promote a plant a tree for a green community on
November 2017.
3. The CSG will sponsor a livelihood products making at Baung on October
2017.
4. The CSG will sponsor a Christmas Gift giving on December 2017.

5. The CSG officers will conduct a Gabay Para saPamumuno at Baung, Piat on
January 2018

6. The CSG Officers will have a tutoring among the children of Baung, Piat on
February 2018

7. The CSG will evaluate the overall activity conducted at Baung, Piat on March
2018.
