2. Learning Insights

a. Before reading the article, I thought that technology and science where the same that these
two makes a good definition of the word science. That science and technology come always
together. However, after reading the article, I learned the exact difference between science and
technology. Science makes ideas about how the world works that science do not cause unethical
behaviors. However, technology can be dangerous and can arise ethical issues when science is applied in
technology.

b. Before reading the article, I thought that when it comes to politics and science it has a solid
bond when it comes to our health and society. However after reading the article, I now think that
politics uses science in a different way because politicians is abusing the capabilities of science can offer
and how it works.

c. Before reading the article, I thought that cloning is one of the good invention of science that
has a good benefit and shows how good scientist in creating a clone. However after reading the article, I
now think that cloning can sometimes have a negative effect because it has a possibility to have
abnormalities and it also disrespect God by creating another life through science.

3. Discussion Questions
a. How would scientist deal with the failure that will happen upon doing their works?
b. Should politics act correctly in carrying out the applications of science?
c. Are scientists in favor of the technological applications of science?
