Assignment / Module: Location Photography

Concept:

• My concept for this project is called ‘Coronavirus Lockdown the


Environment and People.’

Outcomes:

• Show people’s experience as affected by the lockdown.


• Hearing and Deaf people have different communication methods and
barriers. Show the effect of lockdown on this because of problems
created with mask wearing.

Research:

• My development research for ‘Coronavirus lockdown on the


environment and people’ will happen as I try to get shots and assess
their success in meeting my aims.
• It is important to me to show my development research process
because of issues caused by lockdown especially with location work.

Resources:
• I have planned to ensure I have appointments for models at their places
of work to show Deaf Independence.
• Made appointments with people for portrait work aiming to show their
identity if they agreed I planned when and where I can shoot them.
• Ensure I plan a health and safety risk assessment
• I used flash, reflector and camera.

Budget:

• There were no expenses needed with this as I have the equipment I


need and a bus pass for my travel.

Problems:

• Health and Safety Risk Assessment


• Because of Covid-19 it has been really hard to find models, due to
social distancing and government instructions to not go out or mix
indoors.
• Obtaining consent from people to shoot them and ensuring social
distancing.
