ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Judge Flanagan is a well known jurist who did her J.D. from University of Wisconsin,

Madison, Wisconsin, United States in the year 1984. She also did her B.A. from University of

Hawaii at Manoa, Honolulu, Hawaii, United States in 1980. She served as the Circuit Court

Judge, Milwaukee County from the year 1993 to 2016. She is presently a legal educator who

teaches legal and justice system professionals and students.

ABOUT THE COURSE

The course will cover practical skills necessary to communicate effectively and persuasively

in the practice of law through interactive exercises designed to build upon the technical

foundation of the law curriculum. Students will practice public speaking and role-playing to

develop and improve their advocacy skills. Students will learn obligation of every attorney to

effectively represent the interest of their client.

30th January - 27th February 2021 (Every Saturday 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM)
