Introduction
In this case, the author introduced how did teamwork effect IEDO. They are using
teamwork to improve innovation and creativity. The concept of teamwork is using in every
team through all the company. And makes the company better.
Innovation and creativity are very important during a company’s development (Teamwork
at IDEO). There are several functions that are influence innovation at IDEO
1. Brainstorming
Brainstorming means that the working group carries out discussion in the form of a meeting
in an unrestricted atmosphere, breaks the routine and gives full expression to its views. The
reason why we need brainstorming in a team is because it can be a good way to build a
team, create a transparent and trusting communication atmosphere, and thus improve the
brainstorming all people included in the chain, let everybody discussion, such doing can
communication foundation for subsequent projects, and deepen the cognition of all team
members to service.
Knowledge collection is a keyway to gain more experience. To share the knowledge to the
team can save time for the whole team and have more idea about how to improve the project
Team cognitive diversity reflections on team creativity and examine the influence of the
team and team atmosphere of intermediary role in the above relations and regulating role. IDEO
thinks diversity of interdisciplinary can make the team has higher quality, faster innovation
(Teamwork at IDEO).
First of all, I think diversity of interdisciplinary can brings more knowledge to the team.
The team member not only can think about what their knowledge can brings the project but
also can think about to cooperate with other team member’s knowledge. And think about a
creative and diversified solution. Second is I think, team members can have more experience

Based on this case study, I learnt some ideas about how and why the team member is very
important. Also, during this case study, I find out some characters that are important and can
influence an efficient teamwork. The case makes me think if what I need to think if I want to
