Digitising in Arcgis

This document provides instructions for digitizing land cover data in ArcGIS. It describes how to: 1) Add basemap and townland map data to an ArcGIS project. 2) Search for and zoom to a specific townland polygon to focus the digitization. 3) Create a new feature dataset and land cover feature class to store the digitized polygons. 4) Start an editing session and digitize forest and woodland polygons within the townland by drawing polygons on the map and populating an attribute field.
