When calculating contact time, each contact hour is counted as a full hour because the organisation of the
schedule, moving from room to room, and individual questions to lecturers after the class, all mean that about
60 minutes should be counted.
Credit points (one credit point equates to about 15 hours of coursework,
including all forms of teaching contact, assessment tasks and
private study for an average student)
Credit point = (13 x 4 hours)/15 hours = 3.466
