Ms. Hilton passes away. Her house is put for sale.
The people that moves in cause a stir in Miguel Street.
Mrs. Hereira develops a friendship with the narrator’s mother because she would constantly go
to their house for refuge.
The men of Miguel Street decided to beat Toni, but later realized that it was worthless.
After Toni let the dog attack Mrs. Hereira, she finally decides to leave him, but leaves him a
week supplies for him.
