Educational Research Concept Map

Educational research is a systematic form of research that applies analytical approaches to solve educational challenges by collecting and analyzing data. It has three main purposes: to extend knowledge by presenting solutions to pedagogical issues, enhance teaching and learning, and find answers to questions about learners. There are three main types of educational research: descriptive research which describes populations or phenomena; correlational research which evaluates relationships between variables without manipulation; and experimental research which manipulates variables to measure effects.
