Series 2020

MANDATING ALL REPATRIATES AND OVERSEAS FILIPINO WORKERS COMING FROM


COVID 2019-STRICKEN COUNTRIES TO UNDERGO SELF QUARANTINE FOR
FOURTHEEN (14) DAYS UPON ARRIVAL TO DETER LOCAL TRANSMISSION OF
DREADFUL VIRUS.

WHEREAS, LGUs, as provided for under Section 16 of the Local Government code
(RA7160), shall ensure and support, among other things, the promotion of health, safety
and general welfare of the populace within their respective territorial jurisdictions;

WHEREAS, in the wake of global epidemic known as CORONA VIRUS


RESPIRATORY DISEASE-19 or COVID-19, the LGU shall undertake extreme measures to
deter local transmission and outbreak;

WHEREAS, it is but indispensable and urgent that preventive and precautionary


measures be enforced to preclude virus transmission and safeguard the health of the
public, especially the people of Barangay ___________________________________________, Moncada,
Tarlac.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, _________________________________________, Punong Barangay of


________________________________________________, Moncada, Tarlac, by the virtue of the authority
vested in me by law do hereby order the following;

Section 1. All Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), migrants and repatriates arriving
from COVID- stricken countries shall undergo a fourteen (14) days mandatory self
quarantine in their respective homes upon arrival.

Section 2. RHU personnel along with the Barangay Health Emergency Response
Team (BHERT) shall conduct periodic visitation and check up on OFWs, repatriates
and migrants and ensure their prompt referral to DOH designated hospitals and
facilities for appropriate diagnostic procedures and treatment;

Section 3. That failure to submit themselves to mandatory 14-day self-quarantine,


the RHU and BHERT shall be left with no recourse but to request for the assistance
of the Philippine National Police (PNP) to bring the person to the designated area
for mandatory quarantine assigned by the LGU;

Section 4. This Order shall take effect immediately.
