Irrational Number is a number which cannot be written as a quotient (or ratio) of two integers.
Many square roots are irrational, like √ 2=1.41 … (and more) √ 3=1.732 … (and more)

 To help you underrated square root, you may go to your textbook and read Square
Root on page 74 – 80.
Textbook: Chua, Simon L. (2018) Soaring 21 st Century Mathematics, Phoenix
Publishing House Inc., Quezon Avenue, Quezon City.

For Rational/ Irrational Numbers:

1. Read on pages 47-49
For Square Roots:
1. Read the introduction on page 74 – 75.
2. Familiarize all the perfect squares (2nd column) until 200 found on the last page.
3. Try to answer the Warm-Up Practice and Power Plus on pages 79-80.

IV. ACTIVITY: PLEASE READ!

General Instructions:
 Kindly prepare 1 activity notebook for this subject. Don’t forget to
write the activity number.
 Don’t forget to write the activity number.
 Follow the instructions given in each activity.
 Write your answers legibly and avoid erasure if possible.
