Universal Car Emulator Programs:: Program Use

This document provides instructions for using a universal car emulator program with various BMW models from 1996 to 1998 that use an individual serial number (ISN) system. The emulator supports 4 BMW models and their engine control units. For each model, it describes finding the ISN from the ECU and writing it to the emulator's memory chip in order to start the car without an engine immobilizer system.

Wiring colour codes

The LED behavior

- no jumpers – diagnostic mode - it flashes every second

- adjusting to the ECU – flashing 0,1 sec

- after adjusting it lights constantly and blinks every other second

Find the ISN code in ECU using by INPA

and write values to 24C02 eeprom


memory which solder to PCB in place
L9616D in Julie emulator

If you have ISN code, but you don't


know, which values must be written in
emulator's 24C02 eeprom memory,
write on the forum

Cut off immo line marked in the picture and disconnect EWS.
In order to start the starter you need to join two pins of starter's relay!
