3. Reason Why the private IPv4 assignment is not feasible for your network?
Ans: To host the services in public network

4. Are you aware that most of the applications and services can run on single public IPv4 address using
port forwarding and virtual hosting to private IPv4 address?
Ans: Yes. Since we’re hosting multiple web, email and APIs and requesting multiple Public IP address.

5. Are you aware that the exiting IPv4 addresses are limited
(4294967296 address only) and it is already finished globally? So you should carefully plan your network
and use it optimally.
Ans: Yes.

6. Number of IPv4 addresses requested/Prefix Length


Ans: 8 public IP address, ( /29).

7. Existing Public IPv4 assigned, if any.


Ans: Yes. 202.166.217.100.

8. Describe your planned Network topology along with IPv4 address usage plan. Please also attach the
network diagram.
Ans:

Norvic International Hospital network architecture is segregated in Core, distribution and access, Some
of the critical devices has also maintain the High availability. In terms traffic flow and zone there is
external zone, Public and private server zone, VPN connectivity and User (Office) network zone.

ISP, worldlink is connected in external firewall and internet related policy, NAT is configured in external
firewall. All the server traffic is inspect by internal server farm firewall, there is two layer of firewall
inspection for services. All the traffic will be pass through the Core switch. User network, VPN network
and sever all connected to core network.

9. If request for IPv4 change please mention a valid reason

10. Provide the description of services, server and host which will use the public IPv4 address and how
many?

Ans:
i) Email server – 2 IP address; we’re hosting on premise email server for norvichospital.com and
blc.com.np.
ii) Hospital Management server – 1 IP address ; few services like, hospital appointment, teleconsultation
which needs to hosted on public access
iii) Website – 2 IP address; two host the website.
iv) UAT system – 1 IP address; we’ve the test/sandbox environment which also be publicly accessible in
need basis.

v) API of hospital system - 1 IP address; We’re developing mobile app and other third party application
needs to be integrate on public network.
vi) Additional test server. – 1 IP address

11. Do you have knowledge about IPv6? if yes Do you have any plans of its implementation ? Are you
ready?
Ans: Yes, I’ve a knowledge about IPv6. We don’t have any plan for the implementation now.

Notes:
1. All questions must be answered properly.
2. If provided answers is found unsatisfactory additional question may be asked.
3. Improper justification can lead to IPv4 request disapproval.
