Analyze each image, then observe the clue adjective, and Write down three
sentences for each image, use the past simple tenses, see the example to guide

CLUE : EXPENSIVE

Sentence 1 (adjective/clue).- The ball was expensive

Sentence 2 (comparative).- The doll was more expensive than the ball
Example

Sentence 3 (superlative).- The bicycle was the most expensive


CLUE : ANGRY

Sentence 1. - Maggie was angry.

Sentence 2. - Eddie was angrier than Maggie.

Sentence 3. - Sony was the angriest.


CLUE: HOT

Sentence 1. - The thermometer 1 was hot.


Sentence 2. - The thermometer 2 was hotter than the thermometer 1.
Sentence 3. - The thermometer 3 was the hottest.

CLUE: FAR
Sentence 1.- The city 1 was far.
Sentence 2.- The city 2 was farer than the city 1.
Sentence 3.- The city 3 was the farthest.

CLUE: INTERESTED

Sentence 1. - The boy 1 was interested.


Sentence 2. - The boy 3 was more interested than the boy 1 and boy 2.
Sentence 3. - The boy 3 was the most interested.
CLUE: COMFORTABLE

Sentence 1. - The bench was comfortable.


Sentence 2. - The chair was more comfortable than the bench.
Sentence 3. - The beach chair was the most comfortable.

Total number of sentences = 15

Write 3 comparative sentences with the
vocabulary LESS (use the virtual class:
Comparing/ submenu: Comparative Adjectives /
slide: “THAN” to guide you)

1. My economic level is lesser than my brother.

2. My car is lesser than the my grandfather.

3. The cell phone LG is lesser than expensive the cell phone Motorola.

Use your creativity. Write 3 sentences with the


vocabulary “GOOD” and then use its comparative
form as well as its superlative, to compare three
things or three people.

(good) --- My motorcicle yamaha are good.

(comparative) --- My motorcicle Yamaha are better


than the Motorcicle Italika.

(superlative) --- The best motorcicle is Yamaha.

Now compare something bad.

(bad) --- My motorcicle kurazai is bad.


(comparative) --- My motorcicle Carabela are worse than the Motorcicle Kurazai.

(superlative) --- The worst motorcicle is Italika..

Write one comparative sentence with the vocabulary “SLIGHTLY + ADJECTIVE”
