All of the noted base valve hydrants noted above are provided with either a base elbow or vertical base inlet.

All Base Valve hydrants may incorporate an optional AquaGrip joint end connection for use with UL Listed ANSI/AWWA C151/A21.51 Class 350
ductile iron pipe and UL Listed PVC pipe rated 150 and 200 psi. The pressure rating for the hydrant/AquaGrip joint assembly is determined by the
lower pressure rating of either the hydrant or pipe. Refer to installation instructions for installation limitations.

The Model A-479 and A-479HP hydrants are provided with a 4 in. monitor elbow.

All models may be equipped with a breakaway traffic feature.
