NEGATIVE

1. I care too much about what others think about me

The positives:

 I learn very fast.


 I am loyal.
 I can think from different perspectives quite easily.
 Being an avid reader, I know about a wide range of topic.
 I adopt to new things and ideas very fast.

The negatives:

 My ability to learn fast has led to short attention span. So, although I learn fast, I
don't learn a lot.
 My loyalness has led to trusting people blindly. This is never a good thing.
 I overthink. I over analyze every single issue in my life. This leads to anxiety.
 My knowledge is wide, but shallow.
 I adapt to new ideas so fast that I can’t remain steady for a single moment.

Positive(1) I never give up. (2) I have EXTREME patients (3) I love the our planet and all in
it. (4) I am a devoted believer in forgiveness. (5) I’m very willing to openly discuss any topic
and do not get offended by others beliefs.

Negative(1) I have random and sometimes horrible jokes. (2) Little to no priority on time
lines, which simply means often I’m late. (3) I’m not as consistent as I, or others, want me to
be. Particularly with my attitude toward the human race. (4) I find I offend others because
although I will listen and hear their beliefs (on any give topic) it will not change my attitude
toward that topic. This is inturpited as stubborn or hard headed but I believe it to be that I
just believe in my own philosophy. (5) I can be very defensive. I am easily put on the
defense if someone attacks me or a belief I hold to be true and factual.

2. Why does u want to join here?

1. I am looking for a bigger place where my current level of skills can be utilized to full
potential

2. I am looking for assuming more responsibility and leadership and I see bright chances
for the same in your company

3. My last company has helped me enormously in honing my skills and my contribution


has been consistent with what I learnt there. Now, I think, I am ready for the next stage
of my career and your company offers a matching platform

4. I have been reading about your company getting into area xxxxxx. That is something; I
always wanted to be in, especially after I recently qualified myself in that area. When I
checked with my current company on their plans, I understand that this area may not
be their priority.

5. I joined my current company as a fresher and got to learn a lot from it. Of course it’s
difficult to leave ur 1st company but career growth is one reason i want to change.
Since my project is a long term one i feel like I have come to a stagnant mode where i
am learning nothing new from it. Plus I am getting de-motivated from my managers
whenever i am asking them permission to attend some internal training. I want to join a
company which will not only give me new learning opportunities but also keeps me
motivated and support my career growth.

3.What will make you stay in this company at for the entire lifetime?

In my career, I am sure of one thing and that is I want to build a decent career in my
current domain. My present job has shown me the path to move and attain what has
been my long-term career objective. I have acquired necessary skills to some extent as
well as have got accustomed to the corporate way of working. It is essential that I
establish myself according to the requirements which can help me reach the aim I have
set for myself. I think the opening in your organization can actually guarantee all my
objectives and requirements get fulfilled over time. This job can help me set up a strong
professional life foundation  and eventually build upon it.

a boost as well as render me sufficient opportunities to leverage most of my acquired

4 . What are your goals


Things change so rapidly that we can not rely on what we've learned, I want to see
myself extracting every single drop of experience/skills as I move ahead.

My long term goal involve growing in a company where I can continue to learn and
contribute as much as benefits as I can, once I gained additional experience I want to
move through the ranks of the job. My goal is to do everything possible to keep learning
and improving.

I have two goals the first one is short term goal and second one is a long term goal.

My short term is to get a job in a well reputed company like yours to learn new set of
skills.
And My long term goal is to get a chance to meet "AB DE VILLIERS" with a cup of
coffee.

5. Where does u see you in next 5 years?


I am positive and determined towards achieving mine as well as the company’s goals. I
will be committed and dedicated to my profession and deliver the best, while learning
from the best. Having said that, I see myself in a managerial role and demonstrating my
leadership capabilities.

6.  What were the challenges you faced in earlier job?


Like few years ago our company was passing with a difficult financial period for few
reasons. So at that time two major challenges I faced at that time... firstly the salary
was not on time so I have to manage somehow and secondly some of our teammates
left the job in that period so the major challenge was to complete the task and we
worked for 3 or 4 full nights inorder to submit the reports but at last we did it and I really
feel proud for it.

8. How do you feel about working with Swedish people while sitting in India? 
Working in a foreign country looks very impressive. You get the opportunity to explore a
new country, immerse yourself in a new culture and meet people from all over the
world.

9. How will you explain the entire thing to your client when you won’t be able to meet them
face to face but only Internet is the means of communication?
“I understand that this role requires very good communication and team working skills.
By internet communication means communicate through emails or video chats etc

10. Tell me a little about yourself.


I am Andrew Bell, a computer graduate from MIT. I like to apply my analytical skills to
develop world-class products in the XYZ domain. When I am not working, I volunteer to
NGO’s as it allows me to serve needy people.  I also travel a lot and an active member
of XXX travel group or club through which I could explore my hobby more.

I admired this company. I was delighted when I had a conversation to one of your
employees are talking about how great it is to work for your company. It’s wonderful to
see that your employees are proud to talk about how much they love their jobs. Your
company believes in providing superior service, and I share the same value. It enables
me to not only fit into your organization but complement the team as well.

12 Do you consider yourself successful?


To me, success is not just my personal achievements but also by the efforts of the
people around me. I feel successful when I meet my short term as well as the long-term
goals. While I also believe that greater success can be achieved while working as a
team towards a common goal.

Yes. I love traveling. Adjusting to new places and meeting new people would be a delightful
experience for me.

As of now, I haven’t thought much about it. I’m more focused on learning the requirements
for this position that I am applying for.

15 What would you consider your greatest strengths & weakness?

My strength is my ability to convert negative work environment into positive. At the same
time, developing a supportive team. I am also capable of keeping many projects on track
and ensuring deadlines are met. As far as my weakness is concerned, I get impatient
sometimes in order to get everything done very quickly. To tackle the problem, I am trying to
re-consider the to-do list and prioritize the tasks.

Many things motivate me. My goal is to be the best of what I can be, often motivates me to
go beyond my own expectations. When I see myself being productive every day, it
motivates me to continue.

The only dream job I’ve always had was a job that keeps me busy, a job wherein I get to
contribute to the company’s success.

Since the opportunities are less in my previous company and I want to explore more for my
growth. You are looking for new challenges at work. I left my previous job to enhance my
skill and potential and also to grow professionally and financially.

19 What experience do you have in this field?

Being a design engineer in infra-structure I have experienced in designing of Bridges, box


type structures, Flyovers, RCC structures like underpasses, overpasses etc. Also a good
experience of the softwares like AutoCAD, Ms Office, Staadpro, Google Earth, etc.

As I have said earlier, my years of experience in this field is something that can truly
contribute to this company’s success. My sense of dedication in every task that I handle is
definitely a big plus. I believe my skills and work attitude measures up to your company

Yes, definitely. While I will deny the fact that I can work independently with minimal
supervision, I’m also one companion every leader would ever want to be in his team.
Whatever task is assigned to me, I make sure it meets and exceeds what is expected of

I have only one philosophy when it comes to work: every piece of work, regardless of size,
has to be done on time and in the right manner.

I learned that without proper coordination, even the simplest task could cause problems in a
project. I had this problem during my first job. From that time on, I made sure every I think
follows every detail and coordination.

Basically, my management style comes with promptness and flexibility. To make sure goals
are achieved, I religiously study and make plans down to the smallest detail. While I do
implement a strict sense of being time bounded, I also add reasonable allowances and
make room for contingencies.
18) How would you know you were successful on this job?
Being successful means goals that are set are being met. Being successful also means
standards are not only reached but also exceeded wherever possible.
19) Are you willing to work overtime? Prepare for night shift and work on Weekends?
I understand that being asked to work for an extended number of hours comes with a good
reason in the first place, so I’m ok with it. It an extra effort means something for the
company. I’ll be happy to do it.

I have high hopes that I will be hired. In case it turns the other way around, I would have to
move on and search for another job.

I have attended several self-improvements, time management, and personality
development seminars. I have also participated in training workshops related to [industry].

I once felt that I was not being given enough challenges to work on. I was a bit disappointed
because I was so eager to go for more.
30) If you were hiring a manager for this job, what would you look for?
I would look into two essential things: the ability to do the job right and the proper attitude to
do it. Skills without the right attitude will not contribute to productive output.
31) What role do you tend to play in a team?
I tend to be versatile when it comes to being a team player. I can act as a leader, an
assistant, a communicator, a secretary, whatever role that will ensure the success of the
team. That’s because understanding the different roles will allow each player to take on the
role of others, in times of need.
32) What was the most difficult decision for you made?
It was a time when I had to choose between joining a group of employees protesting some
issues in the company and staying away from the issue. I ended up being a mediator
between the employees and our immediate supervisor, and I was glad I made that decision
because it all ended well and without further conflicts in the workplace.
33) Are you willing to make sacrifices for this company?
I would be willing to do that to the best of my ability. I can manage personal matters on my
own without causing conflicts when management needs me most. However, I will not
comprise on my values.
34) What are the qualities do you look for in a boss?
I look at my boss as a person who can easily relate with me, can make firm decisions, and
is transparent. A boss with a sense of humor would also be a delightful idea.

I am a quick learner. Every time there is something new thrown at me, I take time to study it
at the soonest time.

Not exactly hated. I once had a job that does not exactly match my qualification.
Nevertheless, I was glad I took the job because it was an opportunity to learn something
new and added to my list of experience.

Some of my strongest points at work are being hardworking, patient, and a quick learner.
40) What is the most challenging thing about working with you?
My co-workers often say I’m too serious about my work. However, I have attended some
personality enhancing seminars to blend better with colleagues.
41) What suggestion/s have you made in your previous employment that was implemented?
I once suggested that management and staff should have more regular meetings instead of
quarterly meetings. I was happy that the administration took note of this and even
commended me for taking a good initiative.
42) Would you rather be liked or feared?
I would like to be liked, but more importantly, I would prefer to be respected. Being feared
does not necessarily command respect.
43) How do you cope with stress?
I pause for a few minutes, look out into the window. Brief pauses in enough to get me
charged again. I can manage stress well enough and does not decrease my productivity
level.
44) Would you rather work for money or job satisfaction?
Job satisfaction is more important to me. Working just for the money may not be fulfilling if I
don’t like the job in the first place. Job satisfaction makes me stay productive; money would
naturally come along as well.

Always give your best in every job, if not, don’t do it at all.
46) What was your biggest challenge with your previous boss?
My previous boss was very strict when it came to deadlines and output. It was a challenge
for me to meet every expectation he made. It was also a good learning experience for me
because it only made me better at what I do.
47) Do you enjoy working as part of a team?
Yes, I enjoy it very much. Being part of a team means you get to contribute for the good of
all, while at the same time there’s are members who can support you and share more
knowledge with you.

Because I believe my talents and skills will definitely be a big contribution to your company’s
continuing pursuit of excellence. I’m a fast worker and hardworking person who can be a
very reliable asset to this company.

I go along fine with co-workers. When I feel the other guy’s, attitude is a negative one; I try
my best to approach him and talk things over. I always make it a point to stay positive and
transparent with people around me.
