describes the historical period from approximately 1945 to the present.

Modern Design 3. This design refers to an era that has passed.
Future of thinking 4. This design is all about the now and the future.
Economic Growth 5. It has increased the economic prosperity and opportunity in the developing world.
 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) 6. These are in line with the most important
issues of out time, and are known as the __.
Air pollution and climate change 7-8. These are some of the biggest threats to the overall health of the
human population.
Nutritious food 9. Is often more expensive and, in some areas , access to healthy foods is restricted or
even non-existent.
Healthy Snack Alternatives 10. It can provide the alternative of a nutritious, natural snack instead of a
prepackaged sugary one.

II. ESSAY: Discuss and explain the following. 10 pts. Each.


1. Food Security - Food security, as defined by the United Nations' Committee on World
Food Security, means that all people, at all times, have physical, social, and economic
access to sufficient, safe, and nutritious food that meets their food preferences and
dietary needs for an active and healthy life. it means availability, accessibility and
affordability of food to all the citizens of the country at all times.
2. Major Global Health Issue - Some of the major diseases currently affecting countries
around the globe include HIV/AIDS, malaria, Zika, and tuberculosis. Climate change is
also an international problem which can affect people's health.
3. Global Child Health And Primary Education- Child health is a state of physical, mental,
intellectual, social and emotional well-being and not merely the absence of disease or
infirmity. Healthy children live in families, environments, and communities that provide
them with the opportunity to reach their fullest developmental potential. Primary
education is typically the first stage of formal education, coming after preschool and
before secondary school. Primary education takes place in primary school, the
elementary school or first and middle school depending on the location. ...
4. The Need For Gender Equality- We need gender equality urgently. Gender equality
prevents violence against women and girls. It's essential for economic prosperity.
Societies that value women and men as equal are safer and healthier.
5. Contemporary History - Contemporary history, in English-language historiography, is a
subset of modern history that describes the historical period from approximately 1945
to the present.
