THE HOMEROOM GUIDANCE DURING CRISIS
SITUATION

Faculty Meeting - October 21, 2020


RATIONALE
This program is a relevant instrment in the promotion of rational thinking,
healthy behavior, and positive disposition. It attempts to address the
following issues that might affect the process of learning and
development of learners:
1. academic failure 5. teenage pregnancy
2. school dropouts 6. drug addiction
3. bullying 7. online & social media addiction
4. unhealthy sexual behavior 8. confusion

Implementation Procedure
HG must be properly named and reflected in school forms and
class programs.
HG must be delivered in English as mush as possible.
HG is prescribed to be done once a week.
Class Advisers wwill facilitate HG Sessions with the technical
assistance of the School Counselor.
CSMA ELEMENTARY DEPARTMENT
Implementation Procedure
HG is an avenue to aid students in their development in the
three domains of formation. It is not graded unlike ESP.
Follow the MELCs for HG.
HG Assessments must be discussed during PTA Meetings.
There must be an available source of materials / budget for the
efficient delivery of the program.
