In times of crisis like pandemics, wars and economic downturns, globalization can exacerbate issues by allowing them to spread more widely between connected countries. But it also provides opportunities for wealthier nations to help those less fortunate through increased cooperation. Overall, whether globalization divides or unites the world depends on how connections are used.

2. We are experiencing pandemic, war and economic crisis, what is the impact of globalization in our current
situation? Explain. (10 points)
Obviously, we won’t be this affected by the virus if globalization didn’t exist. Also the war and the
economic crisis won’t happen when there is no country that is arguing on something. It is all happening just
because of the globalization. Somehow it makes some country to boost up and innovate into something that they
want to be. But on the other hand, they don’t notice that it is also one of the reasons why these things are
happening to us. War won’t happen if there is no one that is fighting for something that won’t happen on the same
country at the same time. Economic crisis won’t happen if those high class countries will help those who are
below them. But instead, they take advantage the capabilities and the resources that country below them have.

3. In your own opinion, what are the advantages and disadvantages of globalization? (10 points) Does
globalization divide or unite the world? Explain. (10 points) current situation
Let’s look first at the advantage of globalization. Likes what I said, it helps the country what they want to
be but not all. The technology innovation that invented and innovate by the high class country could help those
below to make things easier and better that before. It also helps to access easier to the fellow country the foreign
culture like foods, lifestyle, music, movies etc. But the disadvantage is when the certain country is poisoned by
the foreign country and forgot own culture. Just like what is happening in the Philippines. They value more the
foreign brand even the designer brand instead of the local made goodies here in the Philippines.
In some country, it makes them unite as one but in others, it sets the boundary that they are far different
from each other. Just like when a big country tries to make friend with one another and they became friends, the
enemy of one is also the enemy of the other one. That’s why when the war has come, it cause too much casualties.
