3lpe Coating: Typical Properties

The 3LPE coating is a multilayer coating used to protect buried or submerged steel pipelines from corrosion. It is composed of an FBE primer layer, a grafted polymer adhesive layer, and an outer layer of polyethylene. The 3LPE coating provides superior corrosion resistance, forms a homogenous and monolithic coating, and has high bond strength and excellent mechanical protection for the pipe. It is commonly used to coat pipelines for drinking water, oil and gas, chemicals, process water, and waste water.
