PIPESIM installation
This section describes how to install PIPESIM 2020.1 and the optional PIPESIM Python Toolkit. A
system administrator or the end-user can perform the tasks described in this section.
Important: Schlumberger does not recommend PIPESIM installations on Citrix® or virtual machine
environments and, therefore, we will be unable to provide technical support for these deployment
scenarios.
The installation ensures that all files required to run PIPESIM 2020.1 or Python Toolkit 2020.1 are

o You must uninstall any previous versions of PIPESIM Python Toolkit before installing PIPESIM
Python Toolkit 2020.1

Enthought Canopy installed, please uninstall it first, otherwise Python Toolkit may not run
properly.
2. Double-click setup.exe.

“Cancel” button on the uninstall window as this will leave the system in an unknown state and
you may have to clean up the system manually.
3. In the list of currently installed programs, click PIPESIM 2020.1 or PIPESIM Python Toolkit
2020.1.
