Activity 1:Mirroring Therapy


1. Face in front of a mirror and act out your emotional reactions on the following
scenarios or aspects of your personality:
a) Your facial structure- I am grateful and proud of it.
b) The circle of friends that you have- I am blessed in my circle of friends though
we are in different places/school/surroundings, we keep in touch.
c) Your current academic performance- I am not well satisfied to my current
academic performance because I also need to guide my younger siblings for them to
learn and understand their lesson well.
d) Living with family- I am elated that we are able to enjoy together not minding
our negative surrounding.
e) Personal relationship with God- I am grateful that I am in the church life and
enjoy the Lord.
f) Your current relationship status- It’s relishing and explicit
g) Your body posture- I am grateful and proud of it
h) Attitude towards difficulties in life- I am distress but fierce to face it.

2. Try to observe yourself and evaluate your emotional reactions. Write down your
answers on a sheet of paper including your answers to the processing questions.
Processing Questions:
1. How did you feel about the activity? I feel about the activity is that I am able
to express my reaction regarding the scenarios listed above, and become true at least
to myself though I am confused what to react.
2. Was it easy or difficult? Why? Difficult, because I am measuring the different
aspects that affect the scenarios given above.
3. Were you able to mirror emotional reactions you had towards the different
scenarios in your life and aspects of your personality? How? Yes, by reacting to every
given scenarios and asking myself why is that.
4. What strengths and weaknesses have you noticed or identified? I identified
that I am confident to answer about my personality or traits and I am weak to answer
about my surroundings.

ACTIVITY 2: Personal Goal Development Worksheet


Based on your identified strengths and weaknesses from the previous activity,
write your personal development action plan by copying the Personal Development
template below on a sheet of paper. Write your response in each column about your
personal goals and behavior that you would want to stop, minimize, continue,
improve and start. An example has 7 been provided as your guide. On the same paper,
write your answers to the processing questions.

Activity No. 3: Poem Writing Challenge


Let’s be creative! Write a poem of at least four lines about your personal insights
on how you value yourself. You may read the poem with your family at home or
share it with your friends in your social media accounts.

To boost myself confidently.

Make your own “Pledge of Commitment” stating that despite the many
challenges you are facing now, still you are able to manage life with courage and
determination. Write it on a sheet of paper.

PLEDGE OF COMMITMENT
I pledge my commitment that no matter what problems may come, I will let it
come and not ignore it; face it with boldness and determination that I will not let it
to destroy my life for existence. Create a life that I will not regret and take
responsibility for every decision that I will make, and do. This is my plea, that I
will be a better person for every step of my life and be contented with everything
and everyone that I have.
