of media (print, broadcast, online)

Print media consisting of paper and ink. It is reproduced in a printing process that is traditionally
mechanical. (Books, Newspaper, Magazines, Brochures, Flyers)
Broadcast media reach target audiences using airwaves as the transmission medium. (Television, Radio,
Satellites, Mobile Phones, Movie or Films)
In terms of television and movie classification ratings we have MTRCB as the government agency
responsible for rating television programs and films in the Philippines.
TELEVISION:
 G - viewers of all ages are admitted
 PG - viewers below 13 years old must be accompanied by a parent or supervising adult
 SPG

MOVIE/FILM:
 G – viewers of all ages are admitted
 PG – viewers below 13 years old must be accompanied by a parent or supervising adult
 R-13 – only viewers 13 years old and above can be admitted
 R-16 – only viewers 16 years old and above can be admitted
 R-18 – only viewers 18 years old and above can be admitted
 X – X rated films not suitable for public exhibition
