Designation: Senior Software Engineer (Node & React)

Job description:

A standard Sr. Software Engineer job description should include, but not be limited to:

 Research, evaluate, architect and deploy new tools, frameworks, and patterns to build
sustainable software solutions for our clients
 Leading a team to develop quality software
 End-to-end ownership for the full development lifecycle and strive to write code which is
easy to test, debug and monitor - requirement discussion with clients / users, design,
development.
 Closely working with the end users- we develop in very rapid cycles using scrum
methodologies.
 Responsible for ensuring a team's success, growth, and output
 Providing training, guidance, and mentorship to individuals on the team
 Participating in Agile meetings to contribute with development strategies and product
roadmap
 Producing tremendous feature enhancements and reacting quickly to emerging
technologies
 Encouraging collaboration and stimulating creativity
 Providing leadership and expertise to our ever-growing workforce
 Leading team with occasional guidance and training from division lead
 Setting clear expectations for direct reports and meeting frequently (at least monthly)
with direct reports one-on-one
 Proactively fostering a respectful workplace culture within the team

Job specification:

 6+ years professional experience in software development


 A team player
 Demonstrated ability to provide constructive feedback to team members
 Strong knowledge in Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data
structures, algorithm design and problem solving
 Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams and management to
collect requirements, identify tasks, provide estimates and meet production deadlines
 Experience in implementing and consuming large-scale web services
 Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software
development life cycle
 Strong problem-solving skills
 Experience with more than one language and framework i.e. PHP, Javascript, NodeJs,
Ruby on Rails
 Experience with front-end frameworks i.e. Angular, ReactJs
 Experience with hybrid mobile applications
 Experience with relational and non-relational databases
 Experience with Amazon web services (AWS), Google cloud (GCP) for deployment
configuration and management

Must have:

 Should be good with raw queries and have experience executing them
 Should have experience talking directly to clients
