SOCIAL DISTANCING DURING CORONA


EMERGENCY

Social distancing or take care of distance is a series of action to


restraint infection nonpharmation which intended to stop or retard
spreading infect disease. Since corona virus for the first time came to
Indonesia in early march. The Indonesian government started to
applied social distancing, almost in entire world, many countries had
applied social distancing and lockdown. This policy (social distancing)
was taken by the government because spreading of coronavirus had
very large. Novel – coronavirus is very dangerous, and had spreading by
physical contact, that’s why social distancing is important.

In Indonesia, the government apply the social distancing with give


holiday to all people, to do and finish the work from home. Also the
government prohibit all people to diminish their activities in the
outside like go to the place which crowded, and diminish to have
interaction and physical contact with other people. For the first time
when the policy (social distancing) have to applied, the government gave
holiday as a step to diminish spreading coronavirus during fourteen
days since march 16th, but this period of holiday time is extended
because the spreading of coronavirus had reach 4.557 cases.

The importance of social distancing constitute a good step which


have to obeyed by all people during corona emergency. And every
person don’t know people which have they met has infected or not.
Therefore, it is important because social distancing save every person
if their obedient, and diminish grade of spreading and demise, diminish
grade of patients which have infected in hospital. Also it is mean social
distancing not only save your life but also others has life.

Until now the cases in entire world reach 1.919.913 cases, and in
Indonesia has 4.557 cases. The cases in Indonesia straight rise, and
many policy was taken by the government like PSBB. In many province
and city in Indonesia had applied PSBB. Also the government prohibit
not to ‘’Mudik’’ which many steps of social distancing, and many
celebration of spiritually like easter and ramadhan which suggest to
worship from home, and while still wait the many steps of the
government to handle the coronavirus cases until the pandemic have
over.

For now very important for all of us to obedient and apply social
distancing during corona emergency, because everyday the case
straight increase mostly in 34 provinces in Indonesia. There are many
interesting activities at home which have we can found. We don’t know
when the pandemic will be end, the best thing which all of us can do is
stay at home, and do the works from home, and if all of us have go out
because there are the impotant things, we have to keep distance, use
mask, and habituate to wash the harm. Social distancing is good for all
of us to save our life.
