Founded in 1953 by founder Marion W. Isbell & Michael Robinson.

Headquarters in New Jersey, United States.

Ramada opened its first hotel
a 60 room facility in Arizona.

1950s -The logo featured a bald


innkeeper, dubbed 'Uncle Ben' with a
banner that read ''Ramada Inn
Roadside Hotels"

1982- The logo transformed into


simple rounded rectangle that read
''Ramada Inn''
Ramada ranked as the second-largest hotel
chain in the U.S. behind industry leader
Holiday Inn.in late 70s

Under Isbell's leadership, Ramada grew into one of the


nation's largest lodging chains during the 1960s and
